DJ Smooth4Lyfe
My name is Joey Ofori a.k.a DJ Smooth4Lyfe, born on October 26, 1987. I have lived with music my whole life. I have two brothers, Ben who is 15 and Yaw who is 19. My parents were both born in Ghana, Africa. I was born and raised in Maryland and have lived there for 17 years before going to college at Widener University in Pennsylvania, where I study Computer Information Science, but also trying to make a name for myself in the music business. I have been working with beats for about 2 years because of my passion for music. I first started producing Dance, Electric. I showed it to my class and they were really impressed with what I've done, which has inspired me to keep going. I now also produce Hip Hop, R&B, and all other genres of music I like. My other musical inspirations are different artists from the Neptunes, to Lil Jon, to Jermaine Dupree. My music is not much like other artists because I tend to mix different genres of music to make one track. I have made four albums alone in 2006. My first dance album was a big hit around the world, and my music has been air played on different radio stations worldwide.
